Friendship is defined as a state of enduring affection, esteem, intimacy, and trust between two people. Henry Adams said, “One friend in a lifetime is much, two are many, three are hardly possible.”
For some, this may be a fact, but it just simply isn’t true for Zora, Indeara, Nailah, and Tiana. By the heart, this ensemble had been knitted together since college.
Too many black women in one place is a recipe for disaster. This is just one lie that has been told concerning our culture. These ladies have defied the odds in such a beautiful way. Each bred with distinctive personalities, and adorned with their own set of strengths and weaknesses. Embroidered with the tenacity to support, love, protect, and be consistent in each other’s life; they manage to formulate a shatterproof bond.
Throughout life, we tend to form many alliances with people, but take for granted the relationships we feel will be there no matter what. Each holiday has its own vibe, every new year its own blessings, but sometimes a trip outside of the country is necessary to obtain the mental reset, and broadened perspective needed to bounce back like you never left.
