It’s often said, “If you walked one mile in my shoes your feet would hurt.” Today I stand in agreement with that statement. After all the hell I’ve endured in my life, I owe God my best praise. I wasted so many years living in the shadows of other people. Now finally, I can stand in my truth and be confident and comfortable in my skin. What you see now is a work in progress. There is nothing about my existence that reflects perfection because I have scars, numerous flaws, and downfalls. I’m here to inform you that if you find yourself in a place of loneliness, or endlessly searching trying to fill voids yet coming up empty, I want you to know I’ve been there too. I’m praying that you have a real encounter with Jesus while reading this book. I hope that through my story, you gain strength to fight and regain every piece of yourself that has been scattered. Have you ever felt like you lost your way? Have you ever been so empty inside that no matter what you did nothing could satisfy that yearning? If so, this book is going to bless you.
My focus in this book is to let people know that there is life after death. One day God spoke to me and He asked me a question. He said, “When are you going to tap in and release the treasures I’ve placed inside of you?” It was at this point that I became committed to fulfilling the will of God for my life with the inception of this book. For years I walked in disobedience and rejected the process the Almighty wanted to take me through. He began to shed light in so many areas, but because I didn’t understand the process, I refused to submit to it. I wore several masks, and I painted pictures in front of people that were believable. Even though behind closed doors I was a broken mess with no direction.
